A very important target sector for the project is the Education. “Education” here refers not only to the general school system but also to educational services in museums or lifelong-learning programmes. This website collates the work that E-Space is developing in the Education domain, including 5 examples of Educational Demonstrators, a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), dissemination events and collection of resources and best practices. Moreover, the 6 thematic Pilots that are being carried on in the project also have an impact on education and lessons learnt to be shared. Title A name given to the resource GLAMwiki toolset Description An account of the resource The GLAMwiki toolset enables galleries, libraries, archives and museums (GLAMs) to easily make their digital content accessible to Wikipedia users and all of the world. The tool allows GLAMs to automatically upload large batches of digital versions of their content to Wikimedia Commons, the online media repository of the Wikimedia movement. Previously, it was difficult for GLAMs to upload their collections on Wikimedia Commons without direct help from an experienced Wikimedia collaborator. Now, with the GLAMwiki Toolset developed by Europeana, GLAMs can directly upload curated batches of their content using the toolset.
